We hope you love your Traveling Black Dress pieces as much as we loved creating them. Because we produce in small batches with intention, we encourage thoughtful purchasing and careful review of sizing prior to checkout.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns for eligible items within 15 days of delivery for:
- Refund to the original payment method
- Store credit
- Exchange (when available)
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- All original tags must remain attached
- items must be free from perfume, smoke, deodorant marks, pet hair, or signs of wear
- Items must be returned in original packaging when possible
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.
Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
- Sale or discounted items
- Gift cards
- Earrings or intimate goods
- Limited-release or special-order pieces marked final sale
Sizing
Please review our sizing information carefully before purchasing. Because our garments are intentionally designed with specific silhouettes and fits, we cannot guarantee that fit preferences will be met for all body types.
Returns based solely on sizing preferences may be approved for store credit or exchange at our discretion, provided all return conditions are met.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- An incorrect item was received
- The item arrived damaged
- the return is due to our error
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Traveling Black Dress is not responsible for lost return packages.
Processing Time
Once your return is received and approved:
- Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days
- Your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time
Store credits are usually issued more quickly.

Delivery Responsibility
Once an order has been marked delivered by the carrier, Traveling Black Dress is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
If you experience a delivery issue, please contact the shipping carrier directly and notify us so we can assist where possible.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos so we can resolve the issue promptly.
